Pros

Excellent opportunity for relocation if desired. Proud tradition among the longer tenured employees. The only armored carrier with its own engineering department. Brink's has developed some very cool software and hardware concepts for cash handling.

Cons

Upper management appears to be making changes due to pressures from Wall Street. These changes are not in the best long term interest of the company's viability. Pay is low when compared to similar titles in other industries and companies.

Pros

Excellent field workers who sacrifice their lives each and every day for Brink's Blue! Field operations are strong from the front line to City Manager/Strategic Market Directors. Pay is better than other armored car companies if you can handle the uncertainty of your position.

Cons

Be weary of management in Coppell. They look out for themselves as you can see in each layoff. The top brass keep their jobs and the branches continue to get smaller and smaller. Morale will eventually take the good employees away and quality will begin to be impacted. The cycle will continue until Loomis is #1 in the U.S. and Richmond will finally wake up to the problem in Coppell.

Pros

-Pay is okay -I've heard the health benefits are decent, although I don't use them

Cons

-No opportunities for advancement -Poor training -No materials to learn from, you just have to learn something and remember it. -HR department is the lousy -Was told of the terrific tuition assistance assistance program (5500/yr). But when i went to use that benefit a year later, they told me they no longer offered it, and it had ended two years ago, before my interview. They had given me outdated materials in my new hire packet! The HR lady wouldn't even reply to my tuition reimbursement form. Had to hear from my boss, even though he had just found out too. -Cheap company -Want to squeeze every ounce of work out of someone but don't want to pay your for it -Not proud to work here -Extremely high turnover
