Business Outlook
Pros
I left while it still had some of the benefits of a small company. It's a unique place doing unique things. Honestly best place I've ever been employed at while I was still there.
Cons
CyOptics got bought and sold so many times and once Broadcom got it things definitely started to change. Management never used to micromanage, but I've heard that's a thing of the past from friends still working there. I could see that coming before I left. It wasn't why I left, but I did sense a big shift coming and had a new opportunity to do what I want.
