Pros

Education benefits are top notch. Excellent RSUs, Annual bonuses, ESPP, and good 401K match in US. Base salary is average. Laser focused on reducing product complexity in their software acquisitions. You can say no to unreasonable workloads...carefully. AI is fortunately doing so well in hardware companies that the disaster of multiple software acquisitions by Broadcom are barely a blip in financial decisions, even if they do affect 20K plus people's jobs over the next year or two.

Cons

Work is pretty routine. Software units' layoffs will continue. They include many top performers across every line of business. Innovation and excellence are expensive luxuries in Broadcom's view. Awful health insurance for the costs in the US. Lousy work life balance, entrenched boys club cliques, zero innovation outside of operations efficiencies, mandatory return to office is expanding to more cities.

Pros

Company culture, benefits, salary, hybrid

Cons

After acquisition was nearing the layoffs began and you could feel a complete change and shift in company culture.
