Pros

The management doesn't hesitate to get the best of available equipment and resources. There will be training sessions every month, which will be very useful for broadening your horizons. I never had any issues regarding work-life balance. Work routine will span around 10~12 hours and no intervention on weekends. Compensation will be better than market standards.

Cons

They pay good while joining. But hikes will hardly be 10~15%. When stock options are also considered, it seems OK.

Pros

You get the benefit of the resources available to a large company with many of the attributes of a startup. There's a minimum of tedious process. Most engineers are smart and motivated. Junior management are unobtrusive but supportive.

Cons

Big startups are somewhat chaotic. The expansion through acquisition has created team collaboration problems that the senior management seem unable to address. Responsibilities between teams are poorly defined. Product roadmaps are like long-range weather forecasts were 20 years ago.

Pros

Get to eat unlimited free food. Get to work on cutting edge tools. No strict office timings

Cons

Too much work load at the beginning at the learning stage. There are no other cons I can think of.
