Pays well, with bonuses, RSUs, ESPP and company match, especially given recent stock runup. Great people (VMware division). Projects can be interesting. Brilliant CEO (but layoff happy).

Cons

Average to mediocre benefits. Multiple layoff rounds part of life. No WAH/remote work. No H1/B sponsorship except senior staff. Projects may not be the most interesting.

the one and only - the stock options (RSUs)

Cons

Everything else. Quite pirating from indian management, absolute nonsense decisions just to survive a few more months to get another grant of RSUs. Pure game of thrones - if you are in the right gossip triangle you will survive, otherwise you will be in the list.
