Pros

easy work, good pay (if you know VMware...I came via acquisition where I was already doing the job.

Cons

So much internal reporting. You're basically a spreadsheet/tracker monkey. Soooo boring. Nobody cares about the customer anymore, it's all about PROFIT PROFIT PROFIT. Pretty lame for the VMware folks where we used to LOVE our custs.

Pros

Pay is the only pro at Broadcom.

Cons

Outside pay, everything is a con over there. VMware was amazing, Broadcom crapped all over the company. Mass layoffs and pivot from customer-facing work to internal reports. Oh, and BC uses G-suite, which is dog poop.

Pros

Work-life balance: I would say, all you will get healthy work-life balance, facilitated by flexible working hours and generous time-off policies. The company also provided perks such as paid time off for volunteering and wellness allowances. Flexible and remote work: The company was an early adopter of flexible work, with many employees having options for fully remote or hybrid arrangements. This was part of a larger "Future of Work" initiative, allowing employees to choose a work location that best suited their personal and professional goals. Strong learning and development culture: VMware was known for providing ample opportunities for professional growth. It offered resources for career development, skill enhancement, and learning new technologies, which was highly valued by technical staff. Note: Above points about VMWare and I am not sure after Broadcom acquisition.

Cons

I can't say cons as I worked very less duration
