      Full of own gang politics

      Pros

      Flexible timing. Reasonable pay. Used to have a better office. Resilient some how. Used to be a great company before and have many good people.

      Cons

      Full of cronyism among the TOP Mgt and their ex company people. Edged out the old gang without cause. Poor location now. Cost cutting measures making things ridiculous.

      Stable Company With Potential

      Pros

      Good executive management. Company making good acquisitions and planning for the future. 2X year bonus program. ESPP is good, benefits pretty good. Work-life balance is good in Broomfield, CO, office - not so much in San Jose.

      Cons

      Tight budgets. Lots of offshoring and outsourcing. 401k match is only $3k year. 2X year forced holiday shutdowns (X-mas and July 4th week - some view this as a pro). Vacation/flex time average with plateau between 4-9 years service. Doubts about the longevity of the cash-cow fibre channel business, and ethernet/wireless growth has yet to appear. Last merger with Foundry Networks was badly bungled. Just bought Ruckus Wireless, but too soon to tell on results.

      Pay Leadership Company Direction Benefits, Stock, Health Flexible schedule Investment in employees Feedback is welcome and will be taken seriously

      Cons

      Not really any cons to working here, company is growing but not really experiencing growing pains. Expenses are tightly controlled.
