      Pros

      They pay well, and promote the company as being a good place to work. Overall employees and contractors are treated with respect. I think some teams may have a good culture- its ALL about the manager.

      Cons

      Brocade management is out of date. They have a be-in-the office from 9-5 mentality, ineffective technology for employees, endless work cycles and nothing seems to change, silo-ed middle management.

      1. Focused company that still executes quickly. 2. Strong engineering team. 3. Very strong presence on FC side of Data Center.

      Cons

      1. Losing the soul of the company that made it sucessful. 2. Slowing losing its focus and is trying to do many things across various segments

      Established company Not too big, not to small Good place to develop skills Benefits are still competetive for the industry

      Cons

      Foundry acquisition was a drag both financially and technologically. "If you can't build it, buy it" only works if you're buying something that adds value. Everyone (especially legacy Brocade employees) is still waiting to see what value Foundry added.
