Not the friendly dinosaur it used to be

Pros

Great history. Some really good people have survived and remain.

Cons

The founders are gone. The great senior leadership team has been gutted by a bloody coup. This is not the company it used to be. If you're looking at older reviews, they don't matter anymore. That was a very different company.

Pros

Bronto has a positive culture. Monthly company lunches provide an overview of the business. I am part of the engineering organization and we have interesting technical problems to tackle due to the client growth and scale. There is a decent social culture amongst the engineers. Good work life balance.

Cons

The compensation seems ok compared to other mid-size software companies in the area, but it is lower than what the bigger companies offer. Despite weekly Friday post work beer gatherings, there is not a lot of interaction between the various parts of the organization. Mostly engineers interact with engineers, sales with sales, etc. There is more work to do than the engineers can get done.
