Pros
Quality of properties, high expectations, good people & leadership. It was easy to be proud of the company and the malls you were associated with. Annual conference and support of continuing education is a plus. Field leadership is full of experience and caring leaders.
Cons
Good benefits and environment counter lower pay for similar positions & responsibility in the industry. Company pay scale is based on a national basis vs. specific situations - good for some markets, poor for others? Annual increases difficult to come by - have the attitude that you need to move/relocate to be valuble and get higher pay? Some disciplines are dictated from corporate office and typically by persons that have no mall experience
