      Pros

      Brookfield Renewable has complex work that keeps you engaged and challened professionally; there are also opportunities to work cross functionally. The uniqueness of the industry means there is always something to learn, and the leadership team is always happy to answer questions.

      Cons

      There is a lot of change both internally and externally in the industry, which may be a con for some people, but not for others.

      1. Culture: very collaborative and welcoming 2. Business prospects: renewable energy industry is growing very fast. As Sheryl Sandburg said "When you get a seat on a rocket ship, you don't ask which seat" 3. Global footprint: plenty of opportunities to move around

      1. Consensus building: At times, slows project down because you have to create buy-in at different levels in different departments

      Pros

      The people at Brookfield Renewable are truly what make working here so enjoyable. They are respectful, friendly and above all, highly enthusiastic about working here. The leadership team really cares about the well-being of everyone and they make sure everyone feels heard and appreciated. Brookfield also has some of the smartest people you'll ever have the opportunity to work with. They are passionate, collaborative, and have an intense understanding of the market. Brookfield truly is a great place to grow your career.

      Cons

      Due to our growth, the organization continues to go through a lot of change which for some can be overwhelming. You really need to take the time to learn and understand both your role and the broader industry in order to be successful. Brookfield Renewable has high expectations, but I personally find it to be an exciting and challenging environment.
