      Pros

      Access to high impact science tools. Lots of great people. Professional experience varies greatly by department and group.

      Cons

      Growth opportunities are limited, and continued funding and promotion to staff is not guaranteed. Securing a visa can be difficult and a pathway to green-card/citizenship is oftentimes hazy. Workplace is diverse, but cultural and social activities are lacking, I think its improving though.
