      Pros

      Still some on site clubs and medical services

      Cons

      Medical benefits are changing dramatically. BSA basically told all employees that it was to expensive to keep them insured and that the only way to reduce cost was to cut medical, sick time, vacation time.

      Pros

      Great benefits (health care, 401K and employee matching, vacation & sick days). Lots of onsite programs and facilities for employees to maintain an active healthy lifestyle (gym, swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness classes, trails for hiking/biking/running)

      Cons

      Facility is aging and so is the workforce. Needs bigger budget to fix facility, but then there is a lot of red tape to go through before anything gets done. Budgets are getting slashed and not enough research is going on.

      Pros

      Scientists with no need to interact with senior management can do great work if you have a strong client in federal, state, local government or private sector

      Cons

      If you have to work with senior management, they will ignore you, frustrate you, expect total loyalty and silence from you' Women beware, the lab is stuck in the 1950s in terms of its understanding of how to work with women
