Great employees, librarians, clerical staff, occasionally very friendly people to work with.

Cons

This place at times has to be experienced to be believed. Lack of communication between library administration and professional librarian staff is to be expected, all the time. Level of clerical staff training is faulty to be nice. Lack of professionalism in all departments is normal.

Pros

Volunteer hours are flexible enough. Lower employees are kind and helpful. The libraries patrons were friendly and appreciated recommendations. The shelving system was easy to grasp.

Cons

There weren't many cons, though I would be firm about the amount of time you're willing to give. Being coerced into giving more time than you intended isn't fun.
