      Pros

      There are a lot of opportunities to move around within the company and pick up new experiences. Strong emphasis on process improvement.

      Cons

      The operation is very lean. As with many contemporary companies, you will be assigned more responsibilities than can practically be accomplished.

      Really liked to put the show on put were completely lost for implementation.

      Pros

      The physical plant was well maintained. Had a very diverse make-up of production employees. Felt somewhat safe working the night shift.

      Cons

      The upper management always seemed to be pulling at straws when it came to getting efficient production systems in place. It was always a guessing game when it came to getting the product out the door.

      Fair compensation packages across all fields. Global company now part of Illinois Tool Works portfolio of companies. New owner has deep pockets which should benefit Brooks Instrument.

      Cons

      Cyclical business causes large Hires / Reduction in Force year to year. Opportunity for advancement limited Several leadership changes in past 5 years
