Great technologies and challenging work. It's never dull. Management is very supportive and involved, including line managers, directors, and VPs. The culture is very collaborative and supportive.

If you're open to venturing outside your comfort zone, Brooks Instruments offers many possibilities for software engineers - mathy modelling and ML, robust internal or customer-facing application development, real-time calibration systems, firmware hackery, and ERPy stuff. Due to the highly technical nature of the field of Flowmeters, it's an excellent place to learn and revel with fellow engineers. The atmosphere is collegial.

Cons

The HQ location deep inside PA may be inaccessible to many, though that may be alleviated now in the WFH era..
