Cons
Cliques rule the roost. Many people leaders are skilled at covering their dislike of others and making it look like the other person is the problem. Witnessing unacceptable behavior that damages morale, even violates company policy, not enough to get HR/Management to act against protected employees. People leaders are extremely tone deaf and lack empathy beyond their personal experience. If they can’t personally relate to you then your perspective is treated as irrational. Career growth is almost completely based on tenure. Very little internal promotion. Employee reviews are given a lot of weight in internal transfers/promotion but leadership won’t give high ratings because “there is always room for improvement.”
