Pros

Nice office & the opportunity to get involved in (too) many projects.

Cons

Independent thinking is not encouraged. In fact, you are mostly told what to do by a group of aged leaders, then questioned when it doesn't work. Frustrating environment with very limited advancement opportunity.

Pros

Really nice benefits. 10 paid holidays.

Cons

Pay average or below. Good workers saddled with even MORE work to make up for employees that don't perform (instead of weeding out non-performers). Don't buy into the corporate ideals spouted. They don't follow through with that stuff. Lots of stressed out managers.

Pros

Good people to work with and company treated all affected by layoffs with kindness and respect. I would work there again given the chance.

Cons

Being a Japanese owned company the business culture is very different from what I have been involved with before. Decisions made in secret.
