Mega corp, diversity over skill

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

The pay was bad, the diversity hires outnumbered the productive employees.

Cons

Soulless company. Due to the DEI program, Brunswick began aggressively hiring anyone they deemed 'diverse'. 10% of the employees did 90% of the work. The rest just scheduled constant meetings. Monthly mandatory diversity training. They do big layoffs right before every quarterly stakeholder report. And you know who they're firing.

Bad pay

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Summer shutdown and Christmas shutdown (not paid). 40 hours vacation, 20 hours paid PTO. That bumps up after you've worked here for 8 years. Then again at 15 and 25.

Cons

Bad pay. Never give merit based raises to us lowly peasant workers. Only the same 3% raise annually across the board for "Cost of Living" which is just them giving you a 50¢ an hour raise every year bc of inflation. Everyone gets paid the same bc they don't want to hurt feelings or be racist or something. The diversity and inclusion is bleeding this company dry.

They only care about salery workers

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Shift start and end and holidays off.

Cons

They do not give a dam about there hourly employees. They make employees work three different quote on quote sub departments when each should be there own department yet barely pays a living wage. They will point you for being sick and makes you use your vaccination to take sick leave or take a point for the whole time your sick with doctors note. But during COVID they let you stay home till you are negative so they can afford to be kid and caring but chose not to. They only did it for COVID because they would of looked bad. If you almost pointing out and there bad weather like a blizzard. They tell all the salery to not come into the office but hourly they make you come into work. If you at the point of if you miss a day and you point out and you play it safe and can't make it to work. They will fire you. They do not value employees and HR additued is the low wage is what it fair for the work we give. Yet the work most are unachievable production standards for most jobs. Every quarter they do a facility wide meeting to flaunt how much money they made. Also no worker cares about diversity and inclusion we just want
