Pros

Foreman were nice and understanding. The hours on the job sites were great and there was not too much pressure to hurry up and get a job done.

Cons

Management was a little disorganized and did not really care much about thier employees. There was no incentive for the employees and never any chance to get a raise.

Pros

The year end profit share program.

Cons

No room to move up because company is “lean”. They are more than happy to give you more responsibility with no change in pay or title. Dated management styles and strategies. Several departments company-wide are losing people left and right at the moment and management can’t seem to figure out why. The company has handled COVID very poorly, provides no room for growth, and other companies are paying more. Lots of turnover in departments makes it hard to get work done. Management hires friends or friends of friends who aren’t necessarily the best qualified for the job. People that are doing poorly at their job are allowed to stay with no noticeable improvement and are costing the company money. Blatant displays and discussions of political views. I witnessed and experienced a lot of sexism, racism, and xenophobia while working here. If I told management about it they would either laugh or do nothing to resolve the issue. Anyone that is at manager or above is in the Good Ol Boys club and are untouchable. Company is severely resistant to change, new ideas, and new/better ways of doing things. Many administrative jobs here would be obsolete if they stopped printing everything and doing everything manually. I never felt taken seriously here as an employee. Employees that have been there 10+ years have lost sight of the real world and how modern companies operate. The culture here has been completely obliterated by COVID. Management is completely against working from home.
