Pros
Bsquare has weathered many downturns and is still standing. They have honored my work/life balance constraints and have been very supportive when recovering from an operation. They provided a friendly, collegial and relaxed atmosphere, and could be described as a "small-f 'family oriented' company". Pay was good and seemed competitive with the rest of the industry.
Cons
While excelling at surviving, they've never really thrived. It does not seem to be a learning organization, so old mistakes are repeated years later. Also, nobody is notified when someone is let go, which is not only creepy but makes it more difficult for others to pick up their work.
