Way too chaotic

Pros

I was part of the original crew for one of the store openings. I felt quite proud of my work because the store was horribly busy but the work itself wasn't bad or too much. If you actually do your job then you stand the chance to get promoted easily. The overtime was really nice when I got it. And as a side note that has nothing to do with the job itself, I found my soulmate here as part of the starting crew.

Cons

The company doesn't communicate at all. When product was changed, removed or added they didn't warn us at all. They constantly change the handbook and will write you up for ridiculous things, such as "calling out in a pattern" even if it's over a month apart and you actually have valid medical reasons. Doctors notes don't even protect you if you call in a few minutes in the designated time. The managers, on average, don't last long and they refuse to fire toxic employees of any position despite calling lighthouse and having audio/video evidence. They refuse to get involved on an employee level if someone is causing clear distress. The insurance constantly changes to whatever is cheaper so don't feel secure with the doctors you see. They have a lot of straightening up that they need to do.

Pros

great pay, and consistent hours

Cons

no breaks, only a "moment" of 15 minutes standing. will not be understanding of life situations such as you could still be written up if your car breaks down on your way to work even though you called. no bereavement, and unrealistic work load expectations. (they recently minimized the staff and doubled the work load). no pay raises based on time worked there or work performance, minimal advancement opportunities. lots of micromanagement.

Pros

Pay is decent, but that’s it. This place is awful

Cons

I worked here when the store first opened. Management fired so many people before grand opening, for the dumbest reasons. No job security whatsoever. If they find out you have a tattoo, even if you keep it covered, you’re fired. Absolutely no cell phones even on your break. Can’t even use it in the parking lot. Ridiculous!! No chairs to sit on your break. Lunch is literally 5 minutes. They treat people like slaves.
