Pros
I was part of the original crew for one of the store openings. I felt quite proud of my work because the store was horribly busy but the work itself wasn't bad or too much. If you actually do your job then you stand the chance to get promoted easily. The overtime was really nice when I got it. And as a side note that has nothing to do with the job itself, I found my soulmate here as part of the starting crew.
Cons
The company doesn't communicate at all. When product was changed, removed or added they didn't warn us at all. They constantly change the handbook and will write you up for ridiculous things, such as "calling out in a pattern" even if it's over a month apart and you actually have valid medical reasons. Doctors notes don't even protect you if you call in a few minutes in the designated time. The managers, on average, don't last long and they refuse to fire toxic employees of any position despite calling lighthouse and having audio/video evidence. They refuse to get involved on an employee level if someone is causing clear distress. The insurance constantly changes to whatever is cheaper so don't feel secure with the doctors you see. They have a lot of straightening up that they need to do.
