Good Company, but BIG and lots of employees involved case by case

Pros

I work in a preschool 1:1. He's a cute little kid and has an entire team of support through BCIU, so teamwork is a great aspect of his care and supervision over my work. Most jobs offered are full-time cases. I get to be included in the IEP meeting which is new for me!

Cons

team members often disagree on his behavioral intervention and care. Pay is low, and I'm only working 9 hrs/wk with my client which is way too minimal now that I'm no longer a college student.

Pros

Great benefits and wonderful, supportive coworkers. I was fortunate to work in a great classroom with a lot of team players.

Cons

Lower pay than similar positions within school districts. Lack of clarification regarding job responsibilities and conflicting info from supervisors made things unnecessarily difficult at times.
