Pros

-Easy -Not many rude customers -friendly coworkers -flexible/understanding management -Making people's days

Cons

-have to work almost every weekend - Almost every holiday too -Hours are very bad and are always being cut -You never really know how much money your next paycheck will be because they rely heavily on n-calls and cut shifts short or completely very often -The time it takes to get ready and drive there is not worth the hourly pay or the hours. It's better to stay home and apply other places instead of staying broke forever. -This only works if you want something to add on your résumé, and you already have a trust fund or your parents help you, not worth it. -You have to act very silly and wear backpacks sold by the company displaying one of their stuffed animals. It's kind of ridiculous. -weird customers at times -Almost no opportunity for advancement -Bad compensation for good sales.

Pros

Experience with children Improved social skills/highly interactive with diverse groups of people The cute kids and families

Cons

THE MUSIC The screaming kids Working at a hot stuffing machine while lines pile up Horrible managers My manager hired me, then refused to give more than 8 hours a week, despite my availability. On top of that, three managers at once had very different styles, one was laid-back (trained me), but the next day the other manager yelled at my 'stuffing job' even though I had never been taught his way. A few managers took themselves way too seriously, cared about ratio of scents/sounds sold more than the guest's overall experience. If I didn't sell a sound they'd be mad even though the guest explicitly stated beforehand they didn't want one.
