Pros

the heart ceremony A card & cake for your bear on your birthday The children & adults who come in/ customers

Cons

-Rude co workers & team -Pay isn’t worth the hassle/toxicity. -No one cares about your wellbeing. -Managers mock you, take away hours without asking, tell you your hours will be given to those “more deserving”. Force you to take 2 shifts a single day so the manager can go to the beach, but no one can take 2 shifts, they’re not clear of that either so they will get mad if you have a family emergency. -Rude unnecessary texts from manager “Clearly you can’t work Saturday so I will figure something out but no you’re not able to rewrite my schedule to fit your plans , sorry I’m running a business !” Says that but forces you to take their shift so they can go to the beach. - co workers will sometimes be extremely rude & ask you to do stuff for them when you’re busy and they have free time. - if you’re on stuffing you’ll have to take over name me as well bc people don’t want to work. They will throw you onto tasks like stocking without telling you there’s a system/specific way of doing it and get mad when you do it the “common sense” way. I have personally had customers & friends pull me aside while at work to tell me that I’m being treated unfairly, the managers are behaving inappropriately and to find better work. If they don’t like you, they actively look for reasons to fire you. Surprise evaluation on a bad day, they’re supposed to tell you when you have an evaluation. Gives 1 SHIFT PER WEEK. Then threaten to take that 1 shift a week away. Supervisor & managers will be talking about non work related things and rely on you to do their station. Numerous times this happened and once they were looking right at me and mocking me. Manager PHYSICALLY MOCKING ME. the most unprofessional job I have ever worked at. It’s just unnecessary drama and extremely unprofessional management/co workers. Also from what I can tell by a 40-50 year old manager, no room to grow in the company. Your orientation is just a weird personality test that asks weird questions like if you scream at customers or drugs, weed, anything. The fact you can get this job REALLY fast/ easy is concerning.
