Pros

Always flexible with schedules, tried to give you the hours you needed and wanted, the experience of making a child's day, options for moving up in the company relatively quickly.

Cons

If your stores management is bad you will have a bad experience. They are what makes or breaks a babw workshop

Pros

if you love working with children, this is pretty perfect. depending on the season, christmas being our busiest obviously, you can get decent hours (mostly part time) and that is when the work is quick. pays just slightly above minimum wage (depending on the store). easy job if you like to move around and do things instead of just sitting all day.

Cons

a lot of the times, it is pretty dead. also, the selling strategy is shitty. you're selling to the kids who is not in charge of the money and the parents look like the bad guy because they are the ones that have to say yes or no. no room for advancement. management is a hit or miss...you get some good or bad depending on the store. fact is though that you don't need a degree to be in management here so their management skills comes down from past management which, again, could be bad (and I have seen bad). Hours will be cut during dead times and it is more often than not. Since mostly women work here, the environment is extremely catty at times.

Pros

Enjoyed my co-workers and management team.

Cons

Min. wage. Weekly hours varied too much. Anywhere from four to thirty hours per week. Couldn't depend on a set number per week.
