Pros

incredible health insurance and additional health support packages, incredible pto policy

Cons

growing too fast and that is harming employees. BH acquires companies like there's no tomorrow and has now had to lay off 10% of their workforce. they claim to be employee focused but poor planning and management has led to several hundred displaced employees, leaving the ones left overworked and exhausted. also do not expect promotions as they will interview internally only to go with outside candidates. also if you find yourself in an underpaid role, understand they will not be giving you an appropriate raise for the work you are doing. its interesting for a company who wants zero detractors to treat the teams responsible for success like they don't know what they are doing. oh yeah I had 5 different managers in two years in one role. not to mention leadership is incredibly white washed. they have worked on this in the 4 years i was there, but it is still ridiculously white and male at the top.

Wow. I'm really sorry you feel this way. I have to say though, while Bullhorn is far from perfect, we are not this. It sounds like maybe you didn't get a promotion you wanted. I'm sorry about that, but it's important to note that we promoted over 1/3 of all of our employees last year. With that being said, sometimes the outside candidate is the strongest candidate, and can bring in fresh perspective, which is sometimes needed. I’m glad that you gained valuable skills in your time here, and we wish all of our Bullhorn alumni the best in finding career success wherever their paths may lead them. – Kelley Morse, female member of the executive team, Chief People Officer.

Cons

Communication issues between departments can be a bit of a sore point, things are moving forward here though.
