      There is free breakfast on Fridays. Plenty of parking. Michael Burg is a brilliant mind, and knows it.

      Sink or swim environment, lack of diversity, can't trust anyone.

      Location would be the only reason to work here.

      Cons

      Burg Simpson is an extremely unprofessional law firm. Their staff is treated with zero respect, and they are reminded consistently that they are replaceable. There is constant turnover, and this firm has become known as a revolving door. The pay is one of the lowest compared to other firms in the area. Human resources is only there to support the attorneys. If you are staff, your voice will never be heard. They truly do not care about their employees. My advice would be to work any place but here.

      Pros

      It's great to find a law firm where the partners are willing to mentor younger attorneys. Not only do you get to work on interesting cases, but the partners actually give you opportunities to take the lead and gain experience.

      Cons

      Being a trial lawyer is inherently stressful.
