Pros
Nice fringe benefits, cool and driven coworkers. People really love snowboarding and what they are doing for the industry, however company uses that drive to keep salaries low. Location/city is superb.
Cons
The novelty of working for a snowboard company wears off quickly. Then you realize management has a serious lack of loyalty and a "you're lucky to work here" attitude toward employees. For various reasons (low pay, age, failure to buy in to the hype, failure to fit in with "the culture"), no one can survive long enough to make a career at Burton. Good people constantly move on or are pushed out.
