-Pay is lower -Sometimes work is not challenging (menial tasks) -Work to do during the day is sometimes limited -Employee time efficiency could be better

Busey has it's quirks but so do most places.

Pros

First Busey is a good company. They might have been a little too overreaching with their loan portfolio but it is a solid company. Busey offers a lot of training and making sure that you understand your job as well as others in the bank.

Cons

The major downside to Busey is it is a community bank that thinks it can alienate other markets because it is based in Champaign, IL. There are other branches and markets that seem to putter along with no real growth and so if you aren't in Champaign, you might as well not exist.

Pros

There is a very flat organization structure and its a small division for wealth management. This means that you get a lot of responsibilities right away.

Cons

Informal structure means that you do not have a defined assignment at times nor specific performance measures. Work is sometimes very meaningless and arbitrary.
