Pros

The two pros to this company was the flexibility and byline.

Cons

Won't allow writers to work full-time so they don't have to give us benefits. Penalized for going over 28 hours a week. Pay new hires $10 more an hour than the writers that have been there the longest. Management doesn't communicate. Management is disorganized. CEO is a union buster.

Pros

Interesting work (if you are on the right team), strong co-workers, decent benefits

Cons

I work remotely so I am shielded from some of the craziness, but there are clearly a lot of shifting priorities and that causes some whiplash. I wouldn't recommend this for a first job, but if you have been around the block it's fine. Seems like somewhere most people stay for only 1-2 years and I'll probably do the same.

Pros

Clear communication, flexible days, easy onboarding

Cons

Offering health insurance for part time would be good
