Pros

Thorough SBA underwriting program, You will develop your SBA knowledge and your analytical skills.

Cons

Underwriters are often expected to work extra hours to meet deadlines with no OT. Loan write-ups can become tedious and very time consuming. Not a lot of support from underwriting management to decline bad credits early even if it is highly warranted.
