Byline offers a good opportunity to get experiences in the SBA lending space.

Cons

*Closers are typically overworked *Lots of pressure from upper management to close loans in tight deadlines *Legacy processes in place that need to be overhauled (shipping original paper files between multiple people and locations) *Legacy employees that have been with the bank for a long time in middle management positions that don't perform well, leaving minimal room for upward progress *HR takes a long time to respond to emails and items that need resolution *Unlike other companies in the banking space, there didn't seem to be the opportunity for professional development at the bank *Being reachable on vacation time is an expectation
