Pros

This is the second company I've worked at and I would like to say how much of a great place this has been for me to work at. The pace is very fast. The work keeps us busy. There is always something to do, so you never get bored. It's really a solid place. Sara in HR is amazing and helped me get acclimated into the company. It's pretty consistent that the seniors here are solid. I don't think I have met one bad person so far.

Cons

Some clients are tougher than others. If you are OK with that to begin with, then you will do fine here. I don't love working in a larger room with multiple people in it, I prefer a private office. But I get along with my team very well.

Pros

This company has a winning formula. Incredible people, challenging work and a fantastic atmosphere. It’s grown like crazy since I’ve been here and we had a party this year for our 100th employee. There are new faces here all the time and always something new to learn. Training is good, perks are good, pay is decent and overall the job is rewarding. Oh, and no one asked me to write a review. It’s not fake and yes it is coming after a bad one. And yes, while we are not perfect, I am still giving 5 stars because it's a great company to work for. We are all just sick of reading completely made up or really exaggerated bad reviews, over and over. This is my first real job and I love it. I’m learning so much. The Social Media, Content, Creative and PPC teams are amazing and really professional. If you are thinking about applying don’t let the negative nelly’s dissuade you. Trust me, you wouldn’t want to work with them anyway.

Cons

It really sucks being on two different floors. We are running out of conference rooms. The work from home policy needs to be revisited. Almost all the clients are in the automotive space and at least one of mine is certifiably insane. Sometimes no matter how much you work your client’s still complain.

Pros

I can sincerely tell you that C-4 is a group of the most brilliant, open minded and respectful individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. It’s a small, tight knit and hard-working family who have grown together in their careers, as well as their friendships. I worked with some of the hardest working individuals and made life long friends. A typical day involves almost as many laughs as tasks to complete, too much coffee and a sense that you accomplished a great deal for your clients in an extremely short time. Time ticks swiftly, days turn to weeks and I never once caught myself looking at the clock. After two years, you will forget more than most marketing 'gurus' will ever learn. I watched the environment mature to one that promotes unity, team-work and respect while still retaining the most enjoyable musings of its early startup culture. #innovationhour. There’s lots of room for career advancement and promotions come quickly.

Cons

I feel my career at C-4 was both challenging and rewarding but not the best work/life balance. The work can be overwhelming at times. The more capable you are, the faster you are promoted, but the more work you get. If you are a self-motivated and have an insatiable appetite to be on the cutting-edge, this is a great company. If you are slacker, don’t even apply. You can fool yourself or fake your way through the interview process, but if you lack the work ethic or can’t be a team player, you will eventually just end up being another poorly written one-star Glassdoor review. Once I was promoted I began to be constantly bombarded by every recruiter in the city. Work was piling up and I wasn’t feeling very appreciated. I went on a few interviews. Things slowed down and I settled back in. Two month’s later I received an offer I couldn’t refuse and took it. It was not as advertised but I ended up getting another job from the same recruiter that paid me more, that’s closer to where I live. I am making more money, have a better commute and always leave at 5:00 on the dot. I have my own office. But the people are much older and stuffy, the work is repetitive and it’s just not the same. I am appreciated, much less. The end of the day can’t come fast enough. There’s nothing to be excited about. There’s no gossip. There’s no camaraderie. No company parties. No ‘unofficial’ gatherings. No memes. There is less work and a lot less laughs. Do I miss being jammed into an office with three other people on Rt1? Sort of. I miss my friends. I miss the insanity. I miss the fun.
