Pretty good tutoring company to work for

Pros

They give you consistent hours. Work socials are pretty regular, and they provide food for all tutors and students monthly. Friendly coworkers and managers, pretty organized and you don't have to deal with scheduling students. Flexible with if you want to take some time off or you have appointments.

Cons

Sometimes there are trouble students, but you need to just learn to reach them somehow, or else they'll get to you. Lots of binders to choose material from, but after the first couple of weeks you know where everything is. There is a cap hourly salary for tutors, and it doesn't go above that level. Center directors also receive the same base salary regardless of how many years they work; the commission levels do go up though.

Pros

I worked as a tutor at C2 Education for 2 years. I was very satisfied with my coworkers and supervisors, very professional.

Cons

Sometimes parents/students would cancel the tutoring session at the last minute. There is not much room for career advancement, but that's to be expected for a tutoring position. I did not receive any raises in my two years working there (I was a part time employee).
