The company doesn't understand how to be a technology company. Very often decisions are top down, on both technology approach, corporate resources, and support. It's rare for decisions to be engineering driven, and I think that is an overall detriment to the product. Many corporate resources don't work, and it leads to vast inefficiencies in development, and slower delivery.

"Unlimited FTO" is really an excuse to never pay employees when they really need it, whether it's a company IT outage that prevents work for the afternoon or a family member in the hospital, those aren't covered scenarios and you have to either make up the hours or take LWOP. Problems are ignored and/or blamed on the person who was courageous enough to speak up. Sometimes even resulting in outright retaliation. Promises are broken over and over. They say the right things but then don't back any of it up. Least ethical workplace I've ever experienced. Run.
