      Pros

      The Austin office has a good amount of talented technical professionals to learn from for career growth. Salary offers are very fair. The schedule is super flexible a lot of employees are hybrid.

      Cons

      Layoffs are easy to come by because they poorly managed the budget and expect the Navy to come up with the extra money prior to getting approval. Engineering requirements from the customer are vague.

      Pros

      Great benefits, work life balance and diverse personalities allows for a healthy work environment, As I'm working towards my degree, I believe the salary with my age and experience could be slightly better but nothing to complain about, My contract heavily focuses on preparing our current employees to be future leaders, so the upward potential is great for someone starting off in this business.

      Cons

      Like any contracting job, job security is heavily reliant on the success of the contract with our customers and ensuring positive moment towards option years. Some of the work is also straining and can be difficult to manage the responsibilities on days where 8 hours may not seem like enough. Just have to ask your management to be clear about overtime instructions as not all contracts will have the same outline.
