Pros

Great benefits and flexibility, great co workers.

Cons

The communication disconnect between upper management and lower level photographers is terrible. Lack of compassion from upper management as well.

Pros

Good training and exposure to photography basics. Easy job, and flexible schedule. Great job to have while in school.

Cons

Company does not give a flying **** about you. If you work full time the hours are draining. Up till 10pm and being scheduled for a 4 or 5am clock in time the next day was not uncommon. unrealistic expectations for the pay and utter disregard for your personal life. Pay structure was awful and I only received 2 raises in almost 4 years of working there. Exuberant amounts of favoritism especially in upper management (instead of firing poor performing managers they promoted them internally or moved them to other departments) if you arent in the cool kids club your time working there will be miserable.

Pros

you'll find some of your best friends. The job itself at a bare minimum is not difficult. If you need a temporary job, this is a good one. If you're sales oriented , this is probably a good fit.

Cons

you and your friends will suffer together, most positions are temporary, management doesn't value your safety or wellbeing in the slightest, management will make fun of and harass you, commission isn't given fairly, paychecks are consistently wrong, the place is constantly understaffed, the hours are inconsistent, you'll be lied to and kept in the dark about important information, you WILL be harassed by customers and management does not care or support you (and will subsequently make fun of you for feeling unsafe). There's no growth unless you kiss management's butt all the time.
