Pros

Very stable company. World leader in flight simulators. Friendly workplace.

Cons

Low salary. Heavy reliance on legacy technology. Even the latest products are merely wrappers for the same old technology. Tasking can be boring - same stuff day-in day-out for years. Architects and senior engineers are unwilling to explore new frameworks, technologies, and design patterns.

Pros

You get to experience flight simulators and insight to flight training.

Cons

No career opportunities for those who are genuinely capable and are career driven. Management at CAE Oxford hire individuals who are either young and no aviation experience or management who will stick around for years who are not "competent" with "modern tech" this resulting you getting paid less and doing more work as your "Manager" has instructed you to do this( because they can't) and overall there is no recognition of your hard work. HR and Senior management do gossip, lie and backstab each other and are very unprofessional on social media. Favouritism is highly flammable in CAE Oxford. They seem to have a very "bullish" and a good cop bad cop game going on! Staff in one particular area are unprofessional and very rude to students resulting students having to accept what they are saying. The staff should be going the extra mile as these are prestigious customers who deserve more. They are full of empty promises so if your someone who gets their hopes up (forget it). Internally very evident of being disjointed. When you resign don't expect an exit interview as Management won't give you one, personally I think they are scared to present this when being audited to why there is a huge turnover in staff. The OAA management would know they would be under the limelight. To protect themselves you are not given a voice to express your reasons to leave thus resulting history repeating!
