Pros

Technology are always evolving making it a challenge, it may be a good start for young and inexperienced people. Is it anymore advantage?

Cons

Things and advantage in this company did really change in the last few years not for the best for the employees. No more recognition plan, medical plan did also evolved for a paying one, changed also are in process in the traveling program (not for best)

Pros

CAE is a great place for a young engineer to start their career. Dynamic work environment, interesting end-product, smart engineers. Opportunities to learn. Opportunities for international travel. Good benefits, salary is fair. Flexible work schedule. Overtime and irregular hours are paid extra.

Cons

Constant paradigm shifting in management. Re-structuring attempts in engineering in the last 7 years have not led to any notable improvement. Employee morale is low because of it. Time sheets for salaried employees are annoying. Limited hours available for projects encourage "quick fix" solutions instead of long-term sustainability. Lots of opportunities to make lateral careers moves, but limited opportunities to move upward. Very little transparency to employees when it comes to management plans, costs, etc.

Pros

Good benefits, salary is fair,

Cons

terrible management, atmosphere of who you know, not what you know. Lots of little autocrats who rule by intimidation. No mentoring. bad work/life balance. They offer things like California Fridays (afternoons off) but it is frowned upon if you take advantage of them. I realized I made a mistake going there on my very first day on the job.
