      Excellent opportunity to work with people from all over the world Leader in global aviation training

      Cons

      Constant layoffs - volatile - little job security Obsession with short term quarterly numbers - can't stick with long term efforts Very low/non existent real R&D - falling behind competition Strange and unwarranted arrogance - the customer is "wrong"

      Pros

      Good Benefits, in general most employees are good to work with.

      Cons

      Management is good at running the business but fail at employee engagement. The hard working employees have to pick up the slack for those that aren't. No one held accountable. Management belittles employees. HR is useless and protects management instead of getting to the real problems . The work environment is very hostile. No advancements for women. Co workers are allowed to be disruptive and unprofessional to others. Empty promises from management. CAE used to be a great place to work but reorganize every two years with new upper management with their own goals in mind and is destroying the company. The good and long lasting employees are leaving. Every week there's a new person leaving. I have witnessed harassment and bulling to others.

      Pros

      Paid well even though I was a student. Got that chance to work on large projects. Met very experienced people. Wasn't talked down to by the people I worked for, despite my lack of experience. Flexitime.

      Cons

      The company itself didn't seem well structured and there were constant complains about how things were run from Montreal - however I didn't get affected by this too much due to my position.
