Marketing need major improvement

Pros

It's an exciting time to work at Calvin Klein given the rave reviews from the fashion world and PR. The new direction under the famous creative director has set a new tone and add excitement to the old sleepy brand.

Cons

The marketing department is a mess. The turnover rate is so high, and most people who work there are extremely unhappy. There is no leadership in the team, no structure, and no creative process. A few senior marketing leaders have left in the past 6 months. An operational person is now brought to the task of running marketing and commenting on the marketing idea and design. How is an operation person running the floor and make any sense? It does not. The team has so much potential to do great works, but under no one, everyone is suffering.

Change Fatigue At Its Finest

Pros

The people I work with are truly the best. Hybrid working model (only in office T,W,Th*) Summer Fridays

Cons

The turnover of higher ups changes on average every 2 years. It is because of this that nobody feels 'at home'. It used to be a much better environment to work in, but now our pensions were taken away, and a good amount of perks we used to have are all but gone. It seems that if you do a great job, you just get more and more responsibilities, while others who are either terrible at their jobs or have little to do, seem to just skate by. The titles some have are laughable seeing as how others not only blow them out of the water performance-wise but have much more experience and it means nothing here. Hours can be long because of meetings that are scheduled either too early or way past normal working hours. Many executives have meetings literally all day long with little to no breaks.

AWFUL, TOXIC ENVIRONMENT

Pros

good full time benefits and that's it

Cons

awful management, especially on the Jeans and Sportswear team. absolutely no guidance and literally experienced yelling and verbal abuse in the office. even after going to HR and trying to work through the issues, nothing changed and I eventually just had to get out of there. everyone i have encountered there is unhappy and looking to leave. DON'T work here if you are looking to find a rewarding, happy work experience. work life balance was also pretty poor and no one's workload was ever fair.
