      Pros

      Calvin Klein is a great company to work for in the retail industry, I would highly recommend it over any other retail stores.

      Cons

      When working for Calvin Klein, it is difficult to move up to higher positions. Although hours were efficient, to seek a full-time job was very hard, and in result there was no compensation/benefits.

      Dynamic and interactive environment. Worked as liason between merchandising, design and production departs and was able to see the buying and editing process when building a collection

      Cons

      Larger company with lots of employees, therefore was not always busy and had a lot of down time.

      Pros

      Lots of longevity with employees which is always a good sign. Upper management is definitely a good ol boys club but seems to make smart decisions. Room for movement within the company. Salary is ok...I would say competitive. Don't work in the industry period of you want to make a lot of money. Won't happen. I worked with a great inter-departmental group! Good auditing system for factories. Experienced two major emergencies within my immediate family during my employment and everyone was very gracious with me and HR was making sure I was being taken care of. I also remember them taking care of employees that were affected by Hurricane Sandy...very cool.

      Cons

      I think they have laid off a lot of great people lately. A lot of people treat their overseas offices poorly which is distasteful.
