A total disappointment...

Pros

The mission of the organization. Getting to do meaningful work towards comprehensive immigration reform, making a positive impact in the community, and generous benefits (time off, medical, dental, short term disability, and life insurance).

Cons

Work Culture is toxic. It's a unionized non-profit for a reason. Several directors are bullies. Staff is often asked to do more with less, they are provided with little training if any, and reprimanded if they do not do a good job (even though expectations are very seldom clear).
