Unsatisfactory with Work and Training

Pros

You like doing tax work as an auditor and potentially broadening your horizons to do work you never planned on doing.

Cons

If you want to be an auditor here, apply for another firm. You're stuck with 2+ seasons per year due to being forced into tax work. Managers take up most of the audit engagements, and stifle the professional growth of aspiring audit associates. Furthermore, there are ethical and moral shortcomings with a particular administrative assistant. Bonuses are almost existent until you're a manager, and if you don't fall under that you'd get a taxed $500 "modest" holiday bonus along with holiday gift cards that are taken out of our bi-weekly wages.

Awesome managers and team, lots of freedom in choices and how and development, constant support

Cons

hours are crazy at times, public accounting.
