      Mixed experience due to inconsistent management and layoff execution

      Pros

      Good place to gain experience and exposure. The local office hosts a variety of events and activities to meet people and build connections. There's some nice benefits like tuition reinbursement and 401k matching.

      Cons

      Layoff was abrupt and handled poorly, with unclear expectations and limited communication from my direct manager throughout the process. Management quality varied significantly, so your overall experience depends heavily on the manager and team you're with. Leadership always seems disconnected from day-to-day operations, while still making decisions that affected them. Team morale and culture have been declining since acquisition.

      Interesting merging culture dynamic

      Pros

      Going thru a merger is very interesting to see the struggle in differing levels of leadership to change amongst both companies. Everyone is nice and it’s enjoyable to be in office but it’s still like 2 companies under a singular name at least currently as I wright this Feb-2026 n after this busy season we are merging our folders so we’ll see how work changes. Free food n similar perks to big 4 but we don’t work until 10-11 at night like crazy ppl lol it’s pretty good stuff.
