Promising, but a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

Pros

Taken as a whole, this is a great company. Upper management has been there for years and seems to truly care. Great culture, and you are surrounded by smart but humble people. Salaries & benefits are decent but more importantly, merit raises seem to actually account for inflation.

Cons

Local leadership varies wildly by office as this company is a patchwork of acquisitions. Some offices truly rise to that Big 4 level and have amazing cultures, while some offices are effectively small family-owned companies that have been acquired, and nepotism & the "good ol' boy" system run rampant. In these offices, prepare for high school-like drama; if you don't find your place in the right clique, you're gone. In short, if considering this company, really ask around about the local office to see if this is a good fit for you.

Pros

They are everything you want for a first job, or a job you can do to finish out your career. The culture is outstanding and I cannot think of anything negative about the work load. They take the time to train you and will answer any questions you have. Genuinely care about the employees and their success and health.

Cons

The only con I have for this job is pay. As a project coordinator you will not be hired for more than 45k. You will do your job and if you do it well you may even be “promoted”. The reason that is in quotes is because if you are promoted you just get more work, but no pay. You can “earn” a title change but it doesn’t matter no change in pay. Standard three percent pay raises, no meeting with management for annual review, and no negotiation on your raise. If pay isn’t important to you I cannot stress how perfect this position is, but if you want to grow and be paid fairly this position is not for you. The starting rate is behind the times, and they don’t give you a chance to catch up to what pay should be now.
