Expect 12 hour days on multiple projects

Pros

Great compensation and definitely opportunity for advancement.

Cons

The company in incredibly relentless in pursuit of market share, which has everyone at all levels working around the clock. 12 hour days, 7 days a week, for months is not at all uncommon, and expected. Zero tolerance for error. Salaried employees do not get a set amount of paid time off, instead they claim you can take what you need. In reality this is meant to keep you working as much as possible. I never saw a single person take more than 1 week off at a time, and I would be shocked if anyone took more than two weeks, even at senior levels with people there for more than 10 years.

Pros

Good Wage, only 14 days a month, nice commute (for me).

Cons

CBRE are a good company and have a great ethos, but the data centre in Farnborough is the pits, they say anything you want to hear to get you in the door, absolutely no man management skills, Toxic, cliqued. If you need to prove your worth by criticizing and backstabbing your work mates, this is place for you, it's almost mandatory, training is a sporadic unlike the lies, they are free flowing and plentyfull. It is August 2023, already 10+ engineers have left already this year.
