      Pros

      Great pay is the only pro, but that shouldn't just be pro to any company. More should be done.

      Cons

      Not a welcoming cultural workplace. Isolation and bias treatment of workers is very evident.

      Promise client first, renege later is the way CBRE does business with clients.

      Pros

      Client teams are intelligent. Client work allows an escape from the sclerotic nature of the CBRE team

      Cons

      Uninspiring, lacks motivation to succeed, bums on seat business model therefore staff welfare is back of mind. Usual hard work low pay complaint but I guess everyone goes through that phase. Left after leadership team overpromises the client and underdelivers them. Goes against my integrity therefore left the firm. We’re a bums on seat type of company therefore staff we hire tend to be many and they lack the skills and drive to succeed. Very uninspiring when you want to succeed and feel stuck because others are just not as driven. No idea how some ppl get the job. Am now in a more reputable consulting firm and it’s such a welcome change to my experience at this place.

      Catered to the good old boys, but there are some positives

      Pros

      Generally, good people work here. Benefits are great, though they have slid in the past few years. Great place to be for networking yourself into your next career. Many great resources, such as Lynda.com, to learn new skills and broaden your skillset.

      Cons

      Power dynamic between brokers and support staff is too often ripe for abuse, and many of the younger support staff are making moves to or already have gotten out because of this. Women here deserve more respect.
