There are some really messed up people who work here. Unnecessarily competitive, paranoid, willing to back stab anyone they perceive to be competition. Weird, because it’s not that great a job, no one is clamoring to work there. L.O. Is certifiable.

Upper management seems to believe our roles are solely facilities maintenance. They pay accordingly. However when the contract is facilities maintenance, but you’re performing critical work and switching in line with a data center contract, the compensation should reflect. They’re expecting you to put on a Class 4 Arc Flash/Blast PPE (40 cal) while refusing to compensate fairly for the increased risk to life and limb. Upper management has no idea what actually goes on. No wonder the turnover rate is so high. All good talent leaves to other data centers that offer much higher compensation with garunteed career pipelines to critical facility engineer.
